SELF-REGULATED LEARNING IN BUTET MANURUNG’S THE JUNGLE SCHOOL

Education is an essential aspect of a community development. In Indonesia, various educational changes have been done in order to cater students with the necessary skills face vast dynamics world. Despite those integrated into curriculum, Indonesia still has issue provide suitable learning processes for who live some remote areas during pandemic. Butet Manurung’s Jungle School portrays efforts helping “Orang Rimba”, nomadic tribes rainforests at Bukit Dua Belas experience proper education. Focusing on work, document analysis was combined theory Then, researchers found that self-regulated concepts were applied.
